To all our Dakota County Residential Recycling Customers

Dakota County Ordinance 110 requires haulers in Dakota County to provide weekly recycling effective January 1, 2022. To comply with this new Dakota County Ordinance, as of April 1st, 2022 DSI has moved all of our residential customers to weekly recycling (some exceptions apply to rural Dakota County locations where the service is remaining every other week). Due to this county required change to your service frequency for recycling, you will see a change to your recurring invoice during your next billing cycle. ​ Please remember to Recycle Well and only place items in your recycling cart that comply with the curbside collection program. Items in plastic bags, non-recyclable plastics, styrofoam and general garbage are items that will result in additional charges to your account when placed in your recycling cart.
